Concentric

This one deserves to be shown just for its brashness, even though it is badly worn on the dome surface. The design of the canes in the outer row may have originally had a descriptive name, but if not, "Sunburst" or "Corona" would seem reasonable! Perhaps the only canes brighter than these, with their blue-grey coating around red and yellow, are those that have bright white outer coatings?

Although the weight is a full three inch in diameter, there is only room for two concentric rows of canes - the outer ones being so large. But even so, the inner row holds its own being composed of complex canes of several colours. The four cane central motif is seen yet again, as it is in several of the other weights shown in this article.

The design is set on clear glass.
