Concentric Ashtray

This ashtray has a concentric set up of millefiori canes in the base. The flattened profile of the base section produces an equally flattened layer of canes. From the top view the canes appear almost as they would in a standard domed paperweight, except that they lack the usual "glassy" appearance.

The setting of the canes is adequate but there is sense of "jostling" between the adjacent rows.
