Round Salt

Height: 1 3/8 inch, Diameter at Top: 3 1/2 inch

An unmarked piece of purple slag glass but one which shows a good fluid appearance to the close lines of the marbling effect.

Twenty bulbous and rounded ribs are folded nicely from the lip. As with many pressed items, the underside hides a mass of ribbing. Note how the base is formed as an indented ribbed (star) pattern. The indentation is reflected in the interior of the bowl but is completely smooth due to the pressing process.
