Main Catalogue

Within this catalogue, all images are set to their correct proportional size. The generalized period of manufacture is stated according to the following:

1930s = "dark" glass
1940s = "yellowed" glass
1950s = clear glass, but fluorescence is not as for 1960s / 1970s
1960s = clear glass, fluoresces Blue under Short Wave UV
1970s = clear glass, fluoresces Watery Pink under Long Wave UV

For detailed information on dates, please refer to the various literature, in particular the text from Ysart Glass which can now be seen, with various updates, in Frank Andrews' site: www.ysartglass.com. Fluorescence results are still under investigation but general details have been tabled in Bob Hall's book, Scottish Paperweights and also in my article, Identifying Paul Ysart Paperweights within Angela Bowey's Glass Museum site.

This catalogue is sectioned in a similar manner to that seen in ysartglass.com, but I have used headings that more suitably describe the items shown here. When further items are included, the headings and sectioning may change as well as the ordering of items within.
