The delicate pink ground works very
well with both the white of the twist canes and the darker millefiori. A row of
yellow cogs surrounds a central, larger version of the same cane. This is
complemented by the next row of alternating blue and dark pink canes. The third
row introduces a plain white twist between pairs of blue cog canes. For the
fourth row, groups of three "stardust" canes are separated by single
pink-white-green complex canes. Finally, the outer row has pairs of green-white
canes with alternating spiral twists, one version having a central gold
aventurine rod.
The tiny signature cane is set
between the outer parts of one pair of blue cog canes, seen in the uppermost
part of that row in the picture.
Yellowed glass indicates 1940s
