The three weights in Row 1 have an air bubble over the outer end of each spoke. The use of what I have termed "barrel" canes (Row 2, Col 1) is known in many 1930s weights, including an example in Perth Museum & Art Gallery with "P. Y. 1937" as part of the design. The weight at Row 2, Col 2 shows a less common pattern, with the spokes only in the inner section. |
